The General Conference Theology of Ordination Study Committee (TOSC) diligently studied the issue of women’s ordination for two years. Of the three positions discussed, Position Two had the most support.
So what does Position Two hold? In sum, it maintains that God gave gifts to both men and women. Responsibilities are assigned to them on the basis of their development and loving service, and the church can have both men and women as ordained pastors in accordance with biblical principles.
